Every stay makes the next one better.
Your guests write down the tips that made their stay: the hidden beach, the good coffee, the quiet corner out back. The next guests read it before they even pack. The book writes itself, stay after stay, until there is a whole community of travellers behind your property.
The paper problem
One spill, and years of recommendations are gone.
- It only exists in one place. A guest can read it on the kitchen table and nowhere else. Not on the flight over, not while they’re deciding where to eat tonight.
- It fills up, and then it’s replaced. The best entry your property ever got is in a drawer, in a box, or in the bin.
- You never find out what worked. No way to see which recommendation guests actually used, saved, or thanked you for.
How it works
Three steps, and the book starts filling itself.
Set up your property
Name it, add photos, and jot down your house rules and a few of your own local favorites. One evening of work, and it is the last time you rewrite the welcome binder.
Guests tap in
Guests tap the tag on the counter, or type the join code from your welcome message. Nothing to explain, nothing to chase, and the only people writing in your book are the ones who actually slept there.
The book writes itself
Nothing resets when a guest checks out. Every tip is kept, tagged, and pinned to the map, so the book fills itself in while you host and each stay leaves your property better than the last one found it.
Inside the book
What changes once the book is live.
Not a signature and a smiley face. A community of guests, quietly building something the next booking gets to use.
Guests stop asking you where to eat
The walk to the falls before breakfast. The soup place in town. The thing you’d never think to put in a welcome binder. It is all tagged and searchable, so by the time a guest would have messaged you, they have already read the answer.
- You find out what actually works, from the tips guests like, save, and keep coming back to
- No language barrier, so a guest from Osaka gets the same local knowledge as one from Ohio
A community that reaches around the world
Every guest who checks in pins the city they travelled from. A guest from London reads what a guest from Tokyo left behind, your little place on a back road turns out to have people all over the map, and the miles between them add up.
- Guests connect through your place, reading, answering, and thanking each other stay after stay
- Your reach made visible, in pins, countries, and combined miles, and your guests see it too
Nothing left to explain at check-in
Your welcome note, the guest feed, the map, and your own recommendations are all a tap away the moment a guest opens your property. Everything you would normally repeat in a message is already waiting for them, and it keeps filling in as they stay.
- No drive-by reviews and no spam, because only guests who stayed can post
- Your house, your rules, with the details and the moderation staying yours
The offer
Two months free. You cover the tag shipping.
Set up your property, stick the NFC tag on the counter, and run GuestNest through two months of real guests before you pay us anything. The postage on the tag is the only thing you’re out.
Two months is long enough for the book to start writing itself: enough stays for the recommendations to stack up and the map to fill in. If it hasn’t earned its keep by then, walk away and take your guest book with you.
- Two months free. The whole app, nothing held back.
- NFC tag shipped to you. Ready for the counter the day you set up. Postage is the only thing you pay.
- A direct line to the founder. Your feedback goes straight into what gets built next.
- Then $15/month per property, billed $180 yearly. Prefer quarterly? $54 every 3 months. You’ll see the price long before it applies.
No card up front. We ask for shipping details when your tag goes out, and nothing else until the two months are up.
Questions
The things hosts ask first.
Do my guests have to download an app?
They tap the NFC tag or enter your join code, then set up a quick profile: name, photo, language, home city. It takes about a minute, and after that the book is theirs to read from anywhere, even before they travel.
What stops strangers from posting in my guest book?
Verification is tied to the property. A guest has to arrive through your tag or your code to become a verified guest, and only verified guests can post, comment, or leave recommendations.
What happens after the free trial?
Your properties move to the standard rate, currently $15 per property per month, billed $180 a year. Quarterly billing is $54 every 3 months. We’ll remind you before the two months are up, and if you’d rather stop, your guest book exports with you.
I have more than one property. Can I bring them all?
Yes. Tell us how many when you sign up and each one gets its own guest book, its own tag, and its own two months free. The only thing that scales is the shipping, since every property needs a tag of its own.
Who actually owns what my guests write?
The book belongs to the property. Guests keep their own posts and profile, you keep the guest book, and if you ever leave GuestNest you can take an export of everything left at your property with you.
When does it launch?
The app is built and in testing now, and we’re setting properties up in the order they sign up. Leave your email and we’ll come back to you the moment yours is ready, with the two months starting from the day you go live.
